Style46 - The Remaster

Style46 - The Remaster

7Twenty was founded in 2014, which means we’re now celebrating a decade of crafting wide-width, low-offset wheels designed for grassroots drifters.

The brand spawned as a passion project, making wheels with minimal compromise for 'regular' tuning applications. We don’t do drilled-to-demand PCDs in ugly oblong holes, fake bolts, or even high offset wheels here—thanks, but no thanks.

One of our standout designs was the Style46—a sleek twin-five spoke wheel with a monstrous concave, complemented by the smooth spoke shape which tracks to the edge of the double outer lip. We stopped making this wheel in 2017 when the mould started to wear out, new designs were demanding our attention and we got really into trying to master flow-forming technology.

We were flooded with requests to bring back the Style46—a demand we assumed would fade after a few years. Fast forward to 2024 and we're still being asked for this design, and do you know what, I don't think we can top what this wheel does. The concave looks almost impossible for the width, and it somehow manages to be elegant and yet aggressive at the same time.

The Style46 has a legacy that runs deep, with sponsorship of James Deane and Piotr Więcek featuring on the Worthouse S15 drift cars over their most successful years in Formula Drift, with Deane winning the USA championship in 2017, 2018 and 2019, making him the first and so far only Formula Drift driver to win 3 championships in a row. If you're new to competition drifting, this historic achievement has been well documented by Speed Hunters.

So here we are folks, a decade in, and we're bringing the Style46 back. And just like your favourite video game getting a remaster, we’ve taken the best of the past and given it the technology of the future. Keeping the same format of widths, PCDs and offsets, side-by-side the wheel appears to be an exact match, but we've enhanced the performance with modern tech - flow forming.

Flow-forming is the high-def of the wheel world, by stretching the metal grain structure we can reduce the material of the barrel by 50%, making the complete wheel 20% lighter, while also making it stronger!

The Style46 is back. Thanks for waiting.
